April Book Haul

Hey guys, so today I have a book haul for you. Lately I don’t know what has gotten into me I have just been going book crazy and buying loads of books. I probably will not be able to read some of them for a while.

As I volunteer in a charity shop I get to see a lot of books come in and we can pick out the ones we want to buy, so obviously that’s what happened (seriously they should not let me work on the shop floor, I pretty much always find something to buy).

The first book I got from the shop was you had me at hello by Mhairi Mcfarlane. I have heard so many people talk about this book that when I saw it I just had to get it.

The next book is called The family way by Tony Parson, which was recommended to me by the manager at the shop.

The I picked up Matched by Ally Condle. I have wanted to read this book for the longest of time but I have never actually picked it up and bought it, until now.

Then I got Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. I thought this booked sounded very interesting and I like the design of the cover.

The last book in bought in the shop was the lovely bones by Alice Sebold. I have been meaning to read this book for years. One of my friends was obsessed with it when we were in school and she wanted me to read it but I never did.

The next books are from W H Smiths, first of all I finally got Divergent by Veronica Roth.

I also picked up The shock of the fall by Nathan Filer. I absolutely love the cover of this book.

I also picked up Thirteen by Tom Hoyle. This grabbed by attention because all it said on the bad was “they are dying one by one.” So intriguing.

The last book from this shop was Angel by L. A. Weatherly.

I also got on kindle books for when I am travelling and they are Sweet Temptation by Lucy Diamond, This is what happy looks like by Jennifer E. Smith, the truth about forever by Sarah Dessen and lastly Dark heart surrender by Lee Monroe.

On my good reads account I also won a book called The rental heart and other fairy tales by Kirsty Logan, which I can’t wait to read.

So yeah thats quite a few books I have got to get through. I did not buy all of these books in one day they have been collected throughout the month.

Thanks for reading.

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Varnish

Hello everyone, I am a sucker for nail polish if one catches my eye I want it. Which has happened with the new(ish) Revlon Nail varnish Parfumerie.

Surly it not just me that is interested in scented, yes scented nail varnish and the bottle is absolutly beautiful.  I went with the red colour because I needed a new statement colour and I did not have much time to choose so I grabbed the brightest and nicest colour I saw. I am a huge fan of red nails.

I can definatly say that this nail polish smells once it is dry, I cant place the scent perfectly but it smells like strawberry sweeties to me. All the nail varnishes have different scents so I am intrigued to try some more out.

The quality of the nail varnish is also quite long lasting, as I do a lot of work with my finger nail varnishes get chipped normally on the same day I paint them but this one lasted around three days before I noticed any drastic chipping which is defiantly and good quality. It also only needs one coat if you can paint your nails correctly, I cant so I do two.

I am loving using this nail varnish and will probably wear it until I finish the bottle. I would definatly recormmend trying this product.

Thanks for reading.
