Even though it has not been very nice weather in the UK
lately, my family and I took a trip down to the beach where we spent the day. We
travelled to the beach by train, which we do not do often because trains can be
a little expensive depending on where you are going.
When we got there and as perusal on a beach, it was windy so
we took shelter in a café and had some lunch. As the café was right on, the
beach after we had eaten we sat out on the sand for a little while and watched
the wave crash while munching a few doughnuts. I mean how can you go to the
beach and not have freshly made doughnuts.
After we were pretty stuffed of food my parents went and had
a walk on the peer that they have there while my boyfriend and I went and had a
look around the town. A little retail shopping does well sometimes.
After a good mooch around the shops we met up with my
parents again and went back to the train station.
I took this picture on the walk back. It looks so beautiful.
I love being by the beach, it calms me for some reason. Does
anyone else feel this? Whenever I am at the beach or near any type of water really,
I feel an urge to jump in and have a swim about, no matter how freezing the
water will be. The majority of the time I manage to hold myself back from
diving in but to me it feels like a good thing to do. I have always loved
water.
So anyway, I enjoyed my family day trip to the beach. Anyone
do anything with their family today?
